About MTA

Tom Maddocks, Media Trainer & Presentation CoachMedia Training Associates (MTA) was founded in 2000 by Course Director Tom Maddocks, a former reporter on BBC2′s ‘The Money Programme’ who has also worked on Channel Four, BBC Radio and IRN, as well as contributing to publications ranging from Investors Chronicle to The Mail on Sunday.

Since then, working with a core team of around half a dozen highly experienced trainers, we have helped improve the media and presentation skills of representatives from more than a hundred companies, including many in the FTSE-100.

We work with a whole variety of organisations ranging from food companies and software providers to academic institutions, and charities. We have a particular focus on the requirements of the financial services industry and professional services firms, with knowledge of the types of specialist questions likely to be asked by the business and financial journalists.
